The new special features hilarious personal stories about getting married (again), parenthood, millennials and middle age, as well Peters’ signature lightning-fast audience improv.

Lake, a young theater actor with no respect for the elderly, is forced to make himself look old, in order to land a part in a Broadway-bound play. His ego drives his girlfriend away, and when research for the play requires him to spend a week in a nursing home, he is forced to review his life choices. Lake eventually learns to abandon his preconceptions and rid himself of the anger that has been holding him back, in pursuit of his dreams.

Canada’s own comedy rockstar, the unbelievably versatile and talented comedian Russell Peters hosts this stand-up comedy special. He is joined by Dave Merheje, Sophie Buddle, Dara Ó’Briain, James Davis and Robert Kelly in this hilarious show filmed at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal.

Each week Ronan Keating presents this talent show where two aspiring pop acts that have both benefited from the wisdom and experience of professional producers, stylists and choreographers in a bid to improve their particular act. Culminating in a grand finale consisting of each week's winners, the finale winners will be awarded with a recording contract from a major record label.
